Welcome to Strap Sense

Site Dedicated to Watch Strap reviews

Why make a website dedicated to watch straps?

Nothing changes the look and feel of a nice wrist watch more than a new strap. These days, the availability of aftermarket watch straps is dizzying.  I have tried just about every single type and material out there (admittedly not many exotic skins though).  I have worn  Perlon, Silicone, Rubber, Nylon, canvas,  and a plethora of different kinds of leather.   I have stopped at next to nothing to find the perfect strap for each of my watches that make up my ever changing but humble collection.  In doing so my appreciation for what makes up a quality strap grew, but so did the amount of ‘spare’ straps I had laying around. They were filling up drawers and boxes.  With the seemingly limitless number of vendors out their, it would be impossible to review them all.  And I will be up front, I will not try to.  From small family owned outfits to massive corporations, watch strap industry is all over the map. From the chap who makes one strap at a time for his buddies with exotic skins to questionable quality NATO’s, the field with which to choose your new strap can cause you to get discouraged. I want to help.

I have been shopping just like you and what became so obvious to me was that the amount of quality wrist watch strap reviews was sorely lacking. You were often left to just try something based on an Amazon picture and hope for the best.  After all, every vendor bequeaths themselves with greatness.  However, as I found out, not all watch straps are created equal. I plan to try to give a detailed review of as many as I can, and together we can pick out which strap will make you fall in love with your watch again.
