RECORD Red Buffalo Grain Watch Strap with Red Stitching 18mm

I received this strap as a gift from a friend when I purchased his watch.   It is made in Germany as that is proudly stamped on the inside. This strap is 18mm wide at the lugs.  The stitching is red and the strap is more Maroon than red.  It has a lovely tactile Buffalo grain and is actual quite thin (2.5mm) along its entire length.  Would be handsome strap on a watch that could use a pop of color.
